The Story Behind The Colors
My Art Journey
I was born into a rural farming family. Growing up surrounded by nature, I always felt a deep, special attraction toward nature and art. Seeing a potter create Lord Ganesha idols in my village sparked the very first passion for art in my heart. Driven by this strong desire, I left my village and came to an unfamiliar city.
In the beginning, after doing various kinds of work, I eventually found my identity as a signboard artist. Later, while working at 'Samarth Arts' in Mumbai, I truly got introduced to the world of painting. Pramod Sir there gave me many books on art to read and guided me generously.
After that, I got an opportunity to work at an advertising company in Saudi Arabia, where I worked for 5 years. Upon returning to India, along with signboard work, I kept practicing painting continuously. Finally, in 2008, I stopped all other work and made the decision to become a full-time artist. Along this journey, I received guidance from many senior artists.
My Painting Style:
I love doing 'bold paintings.' Because of this, I continually experiment with different mediums. It brings me immense joy and pride that art lovers like my paintings and happily collect them. This gives me even more enthusiasm and a deep sense of responsibility to create new artwork.
So far, I have held several art exhibitions. Nature reveals new and beautiful forms every day; through my canvas, I make an honest effort to capture these true expressions of nature.
“The colours are the reflection of my feelings and thoughts.”
